This is truly an unforgettable place; we had a three week stay in Bali, and absolutely saved the best for last- this place is fantastic. Truly relaxing; amazing service, the people- thee is not enough good to say about the kind and service oriented people at Kayumanis. They are truly NOT there when they are not wanted, and amazingly immediately there whenever needed or wanted. The restaurant, pool side diner, seafood, room service, and even the sunrise breakfast on the beach were amazing, the food is truly excellent! We will absolutely return, and look to stay at other Kayumanis locations. Every whim we had was absolutely fulfilled. This was everything we wanted, and more, in our vacation. I encourage you to stop reading the reviews, and absolutely book Kayumanis Nusa Dua!

If you want a wonderful and unforgettable holiday, this is the place. Excellence all round, service beyond description. Impeccable grounds, beautiful gardens and well maintained villas for your quiet enjoyment. Staff are very friendly, butler service will go all the way to meet your personal needs, just request. Complimentary Breakfast was fantastic, order from the menu unlike the buffet style of most hotels. Complimentary afternoon tea was top notch with variety of Balinese cookies served. The restaurants are highly rated and won the Indonesian Tatler Magazine award for best restaurant. The food served is of high quality, well presented and fresh unlike the nearby restaurants at Bali Collection where the seafood served was not fresh at all. The beach is well maintained and I enjoyed my bicycle ride around Nusa Dua, complimentary of course. The reason we returned to this place is because we felt so much at home.

We have spent a week in Residence villa and it was really wonderfull. The hotel staff was always very helpful, always smiling, we really felt very welcome. The all day breakfast is excellent idea. We would love to come back again.

I have forgotten the name of this lovely place and just today, I found the invoice and I can't wait to telling you all how wonderful and enjoyable I was back in 2011 (I had to choose a different year from this website). I always dreamed of staying in a villa, with a private pool and surrounding by nature. The hotel staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. You would not regret of coming!

Outstanding service and hospitality

Outstanding stay at Kayumanis. We had the Chenkea villa, which was conveniently located near the spa, lobby and restaurants. The butler service was efficient and excellent, fulfilling our requests and needs 24h. The villa was serviced twice daily. Staff were amazing and helpful. We had daily afternoon tea and beer bucket and canapes included. Breakfast offers lots of western and Balinese food options and can be ordered any time of the day. The pool was big and staff cleaned it daily. Had some minor wifi issues mid-stay which was rectified quickly. The spa offers many Balinese and traditional western body treatments.

Apart from the accommodation and the excellent restaurants what makes Kaymanis special is the personal attention from the team many of whom we have seen grow up over a 20 year period. To be fair it's hard to understand how the prices are as low as they are for the quality of the product that is offered. Bagus who leads the customer experience team is just outstanding. Denny the Executive Chef is one of those Chefs that goes unnoticed but produces world class Michelin quality culinary experiences meal after meal after meal. Our other 'go to' star members are Irna, Eva, Suzie and Julie and of course the irrepressible Tri who is one of the longest serving staff members. The culture within the team that is ultimately led buy Karta and implemented by Bagus is just incredible. It's so relaxed you don't even know what is happening, it just happens and nothing is too much trouble. The quality of the training shines through the staff team. The new development of the beach bar and grill means you can stay at the beach all day. Originally just the beach bar the addition of the grill is really good and that can only get better as time passes by. For the British readers or those that know about a little British speciality ( mainly at golf courses ) ask for a Breakfast roll with "Lestari egg." Making a fried egg properly isn't as easy as many believe but Lestari has mastered fried eggs to absolute perfection. I like mine soft and with bacon in their brioche rolls - Just lovely, simple but wonderful. One of our friends had two almost every day for breakfast. Once experienced these Breakfast rolls with "Lestari eggs" are not easily forgotten. If you are a long staying guest a little chat with the team will enable you to go off menu, one of our simple favourites is either chicken or steak with some mashed potato, a little gravy and simple veg, just a simple thing that works a treat. There are also some other items well worth trying and in particular the crab and coconut salad. The sambal is fabulous, not too hot for our European palate. We love the resort, its informality, quality, care and value but most of all the team - this is what makes Kayumanis special. Such a fabulous place to stay. The villas are beautiful and the attention to detail given by all members of staff is second to none and so personal. From arranging things you need or advice on places to visit, they all make the place so very special! I would highly recommend a stay at Kayumanis.
